"I am so thankful for having POWER deliver a workshop onsite to our high school students. They alternated wonderfully between theory and hands-on experiments with each iteration building on the previous concept. The POWER teachers engaged with each of the high school groups during the experiments. The students learned a lot and we look forward to future POWER workshops!" Ray Radlinsky, Branham Highschool

POWER High School Outreach Program

POWER will come to your school to lead afterschool workshops, and we provide all supplies. To check out previous workshops POWER hosted, go to PAST WORKSHOPS and NEWSLETTER. To bring POWER workshops to your school, please:

  1. Contact Xiaomian Yang, High School Engagement Lead, at xyang19@stanford.edu, to establish a partnership between your school and POWER.

  2. If you are a teacher, ensure an available space at your school, such as a classroom, for POWER teachers to offer workshops in and arrange for a school representative to stay in the classroom with the students if high school guidelines require. If you are a student, you can bring POWER to your school by asking your science teacher to host POWER workshops.

  3. Share this opportunity with your high school community via POWER provided flyers.
